About Us

WP Contractors (Aust) Pty Ltd is the leading specialist in constructing schools, buildings and many other types of projects overseen by the Government. We started in the early 2000’s with Sebastopol Technical School, Ballarat. Since then, WP Contractors have grown to complete over 500 schools statewide. WP Contractors is pre-qualified with the Department of Treasury & Finance to take on projects of up to $10 million (Reg No.848330).

In 2019, WP Contractors (Aust) Pty Ltd broadened its horizon by opening a Civil division and completing our first project at Cummings Rd, Bacchus Marsh Airport. We have the capacity to complete multi-million dollar projects due to the key personnel involved in our projects. Our Company boasts over 100 years of combined experience.

Our Team

Managing Partner, John Boje

John has over 40 years of experience in the building industry and has completed a vast number of projects in both the private and public sectors.

Through his ability to consistently exceed expectations, John has formed many strong relationships across the industry and has put together a team capable of any task given them. John is very much a hands-on manager with an active role in the day-to-day operations of all WP projects. You will find John on site from when the soil is first turned to the project’s final lick of paint?

Managing Director, Nathan Boje

Joining WP with a Civil background, Nathan brings the best of his parent traits to the company. He is hardworking, detailed in his approach, and wonderfully positive. His engaging and lively outlook rapidly stretches the company’s outlook and moves the business into new and exciting areas.

With Nathan on your project, the site will be well-ordered, and there will be a strong commitment to delivering a well-crafted building to the programme.

Senior Project Manager, Adel Abdelrahman

Adel is a highly valued and deeply experienced member of the WPC team with over 25 years in the building industry. His background ranges from building high-rise apartments, multi-storey oﬃces, and shopping malls to homes for royalty. His highly engaged work ethic and attention to detail ensures his projects are completed on time and are exceptionally well ﬁnished.

Site Manager, Nick Lucas

Nick is an essential part of WP Contractors. His deep love of building started from his earliest years in the industry when he had a direct hand in building most of Alistair Knox’s houses. Now, his skillset and experience allow him to eﬀortlessly take projects from their very earliest stages and comfortably deliver them nearly defect-free. In fact, there were only three minor defects in his last handover!

Project Manager, Jason Stan

Jason is an essential part of WP Contractors. His skill set is his ability to take projects from the blueprint stage and make them a reality. He has completed many projects over the years, complying with company policy and industry guidelines, therefore allowing the projects to be completed in the safest manner possible and with the highest quality. Jason recently completed Rosanna Golf Links Primary School and Thornbury High School.

Contractor Administrator, David Ley

David has a dual architecture and building background and extensive experience across a wider variety of project typologies; David brings a fresh and innovative voice to the company’s systems and approaches.

Administrator, Civil Works, Esther Boje

WP Contractors (Aust) Pty Ltd was built from the ground up by John and Esther Boje, first as a Partnership, to the Company it is today. Since inception, every project has had Esther strictly attending to all the contractual and ﬁnancial matters in the background. While you may not see Esther, her ﬁrm management and astute judgement are key elements of WP longevity and success
